Lot of twenty nine fountain pen signatures of early American theater actors and actresses from 1907-08 on individual off-white cards, ranging in size from 3 x 1.75 to 3 x 2.5. Signers include William Gillette (played Sherlock Holmes), Anna Held (wife of Florenz Ziegfeld, Jr.), Joe Weber (of Weber and Fields), May Irwin (in 1896, she and John C. Rice made film history by appearing in the Edison Kinetoscope “The Kiss,” which featured the first onscreen kiss), John Drew, Jr. (uncle of John, Ethel and Lionel Barrymore and son of John Drew Sr. - - Drew Barrymore’s great-great-grandfather and namesake) , William Faversham (played Jim Carson in Squaw Man), Robert Edeson (appeared in the silent version of The Ten Commandments), Maxine Elliott, Victor Moore (alias “Kid Burns”), Fritzi Scheff, Trixi Friganza, Ida Conquest, E(dmund) M. Holland, J(ohnston) Forbes-Robertson, James K. Hackett, Richard Carle, Emma Janvier, Frances Ring, Robert A. Fischer, William Hodge, Florence, Holbrook, Ermete Nevelli, Edna Goodrich, Gertrude Elliott, James T. Powers, Theodore Roberts, Florence Roberts, Mary Ryan, Frances Starr and Marie Doro.
