Partly-printed DS, signed “Wm. G. Fargo,” one page, 11.25 x 7.5, February 3, 1873. Stock certificate for ten shares in the American Express Company issued to Catherine Putnam, signed in ink by Fargo as president, Alex Holland as treasurer, and J. N. Knapp as secretary. Beautifully matted and framed with a portrait and biographical plaque to an overall size of 31 x 23. In fine condition.
