ALS signed “Disraeli,” three pages on two adjoining sheets, 7.5 x 9.5, April 13, 1860. Handwritten letter, in part: "I entirely approve of the circular to the Members but I think it had better be postponed…I return the draft of circular with one or two verbal amendments…We had here, yesterday, a very numerous & influential meeting of the laity & clergy…to take into consideration the recommendations in the Lords' Report." He goes on to discuss possible outcomes of "the Church Rate question" in the House of Commons. In fine condition.
