Original 1927 souvenir metal jewelry or trinket box, 7.5 x 2.75 x 3.75, with glass cover framing a photograph of Charles Lindbergh posing with his Spirit of St. Louis monoplane, with a lower caption honoring his Orteig Prize-winning nonstop flight from New York to Paris on May 20-21, 1927. The box features a push-slide latch, the underside of cover retains its original mirror, and the bottom of the case is engraved: “8-23, 1926, Pat's Pend. Stone Co., Chicago.” Includes the rare original box key, which is almost always absent. In fine condition, with some trivial scuffing.
