ALS in French, signed “Humboldt,” one page both sides, 7.25 x 9, April 6, 1819. Untranslated handwritten letter by Humboldt, referring to "sciences naturelles." The integral leaf has been professionally inlaid into a slightly larger sheet. In fine condition.
