Scarce color 22 x 30.5 poster for the Human Be-In event, which was held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park Polo Fields on January 14, 1967, designed by artist Stanley Mouse and conceptualized by Michael Bowen, who signs in the lower right corner in ballpoint. The poster features an image of Casey Sonnabend’s iconic photo of an Indian sadhu, with stylized upper and lower text listing speakers like Allen Ginsberg, Timothy Leary, Richard Alpert, Dick Gregory, and others, with the upper text reading: “A Gathering of The Tribe for A Human Be-In.” Rolled and in fine condition.
