Signed and inscribed on the half-title page in black ink, "To Zetta Weisfogel, with best wishes, Michael Crichton." In fine condition. Crichton's third novel under his own name and his thirteenth novel overall, The Great Train Robbery was one of the best-selling books in 1975 and three years later was adapted into a film starring Sean Connery, Donald Sutherland, and Lesley-Anne Down. Crichton directed the film and, accordingly, he also wrote the screenplay.
