Vintage ballpoint signatures of the Rolling Stones—Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Bill Wyman—on an off-white 7 x 3.75 sheet. The consignor notes that the autographs were obtained at the Empire Theatre in Liverpool, England, on March 1, 1964. In very good to fine condition, with intersecting folds, and some light creasing. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks, and by a letter of provenance from the original recipient: “In the early 1960s a relative…worked as a photography assistant for W. Cull a long established photography business which was based in Birkenhead, Merseyside. On March 1st 1964 an assignment was undertaken by W. Cull, accompanied by my late relative, to produce publicity photographs of the Rolling Stones while they were on the Liverpool leg of a nationwide tour. [That same day] the group played two evening shows at The Liverpool Empire. During the photo shoot my late relative obtained all five autographs of the original Rolling Stones.”
