John and Robert are relaxed and smiling, signed and inscribed in fountain pen by both, "To Terence McCarten, with every good wish, John F. Kennedy" and "To Terence, with thanks, Robert F. Kennedy." Original contact sheet with 11 images of John & Robert Kennedy from McCarten's session are included. Terence McCarten was an award-winning news photographer who worked at the N.Y. Herald Tribune and N.Y. Post who met the two brothers while covering the 1960 presidential campaign. An extraordinary image of these American icons and an absolute rarity of great historical significance.
