Decca Records UK mono pressing (LK 4605) of the self-titled debut album by the Rolling Stones, signed and inscribed on the back cover in black ballpoint, "To Brian K. Jones, Best wishes, Brian Jones," "To Brian K. Jones, Love from, Charlie Boy," "All the best, Brian, Bill Wyman," "To B.K. Jones, Mick Jagger," and "Best wishes to Brian, Keith Richard." A newspaper clipping of Jones of the Stones and the recipient is affixed to the back cover. In very good to fine condition, with creasing and two edge tears to the front, and tape from the clipping touching the Watts' inscription. The record is included.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks, which states the "autographs were signed for Bristol based UK music journalist Brian K. Jones, the signatures date to 1964." Also included is a letter of provenance from Jones's widow, who writes that her "late husband worked with most of the popular groups in the 60's + 70's both British + American," and three copies of articles either about Brian K. Jones or written by him. Aside from being a noted music journalist, Jones also helped manage bands and organize several prominent festivals from the period, most notably the Bath Blues Festival of 1969, which featured Led Zeppelin, and the Genesis-headlined 1978 ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream' Knebworth Festival.
