A tennis center was named after him in the 1920s, the Stade de Roland Garros, the stadium that accommodates the French Open tournament, which is officially called Les internationaux de France de Roland-Garros (the 'French Internationals of Roland Garros'). Vintage glossy 4.75 x 3.5 photo of Garros flying a Morane-Saulnier monoplane in September 1913, signed in fountain pen, "Garros." Reverse bears a pencil caption in an unknown hand. In fine condition. Due to his early death, Garros’s autograph is rare.
