TLS signed “Ted,” one page, 6.25 x 8.5, personal letterhead, July 23, 1968. Letter to former Boston Mayor John F. Collins and his wife, in full: "Joan and I want you both to know how grateful we are for your thoughtful remembrance of Bob with a Spiritual Bouquet. The prayers and the words of condolence of our friends has meant so much to my entire family in this time of our sadness." In his own hand, Kennedy adds the salutation and a brief postscript: "Thanks so much." In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, as well as by prayer cards for both John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy, the latter of which was assassinated just two-and-a-half weeks earlier on July 6, 1968.
