TLS, one page, 7.5 x 9.5, personal letterhead, December 23, 1912. Letter to Professor Henry J. Ford of Princeton, in full: "I shall be glad to discuss the insurance bill with you. Suppose you call me up some evening. It is past hope to hit it off here." In fine condition, with intersecting folds, and thin paper along the left edge. Henry Jones Ford was a political scientist and journalist who Wilson recruited to teach at Princeton while serving as president of the university. As governor of New Jersey in 1912, Wilson appointed Jones to be the state's Banking and Insurance Commissioner.
