Photocopy of "Special Orders No. 277," one page both sides, 8.5 x 11, signed in the margin in black ballpoint, "Dutch Van Kirk, Navigator, Enola Gay, 6 Aug. 1945." Originally given on October 4, 1944, these orders assigned Captain Van Kirk to Wendover Field, Utah, for the "Silver Plate Project," the codename for the pilot and crew training program for the atomic bomb missions. In fine condition.
