Superb vintage matte-finish 10 x 13 Clarence Sinclair Bull portrait of Gable with a pipe in his mouth as he inspects some fly fishing gear, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Donna, I wish you the best of luck always Clark Gable.” Reverse bears MGM and Bull credit stamps. Professionally cleaned and restored to near fine condition. Hunting and fishing were two of Clark's preferred ways of relaxing between movies. In the spring and fall for much of his life, Gable could be found at the Weasku Inn in Oregon, a resting place not far from the Rogue River.
