Twice-signed vintage matte-finish 11 x 13.75 photo of Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz signing the Japanese surrender aboard the USS Missouri on September 2, 1945, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Fiske Brooks—with best wishes and appreciation, C. W. Nimitz, Fleet Admiral, USN," who adds a second signature, "C. W. Nimitz, U.S. Representative," on the surrender documents in the image. In very good to fine condition, with light edge rippling, and the handwriting somewhat faded but completely legible.
