President Monroe grants Edward Davis a plot of land "containing one hundred and sixty acres…of the Lands directed to be sold at St. Stephens." Boldly signed at the conclusion by President Monroe and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office Josiah Meigs. Matted and framed to an overall size of 18.25 x 13.5. In very good to fine condition, with light soiling and multiple vertical folds. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA.
