French film actress (1921-1950) who lost her career due to her association with the German occupation during WWII, and who passed away from tuberculosis at the age of 28. Two items: a fountain pen signature, “Best wishes, Corinne Luchaire,” on an off-white 4.5 x 1.75 sheet clipped from a guestbook page; and an attractive vintage matte-finish 4 x 6 deckle-edge postcard photo of the lovely leading lady, signed in fountain pen, “Corinne Luchaire.” In overall fine condition, with some light silvering to the photo.
