Description

Collection of (100) red numbered vintage glossy NASA photographs, with 95 bearing "A Kodak Paper" and five bearing the "This Paper Manufactured by Kodak." Each photo is approximately 8 x 10 or 10 x 8, honoring the crewed Apollo missions, including: Apollo 7 (2); Apollo 9 (12); Apollo 10 (3); Apollo 11 (25); Apollo 12 (13); Apollo 14 (2); Apollo 15 (3); Apollo 16 (5); Apollo 17 (2); there are also (27) red numbered NASA originals ranging in dates from 1968–1973 that have no specific mission designation. Shown throughout are various astronauts and crews and their respective command/service and lunar modules, with other photos featuring images of launches, crew training, lunar EVAs, the Earth, the lunar surface, recovery efforts, and mission insignias Apollo and Skylab programs, with images including: spacecraft and crews, hardware and equipment, launches, aerial views, the Saturn rocket on the mobile launcher platform, extravehicular activities, mass simulators, water egress training, recovery ships and helicopters, and more. The (5) bearing "This Paper Manufactured by Kodak are Skylab. 

There are also (14) vintage glossy black numbered NASA photos, two of which bear "A Kodak Paper" on reverse, and (2) black and white vintage glossy photos with no numbers; additionally there are (7) vintage original NASA photos with "A Kodak Paper" on the reverse, but no red number present on front. And 13 NASA lithograph photos of various missions. 

None of the photos have been restored as previously mentioned, however, due to prior storage and photos unintentionally sticking together there is some dried paper residue on the fronts of 29 of the 100 red numbered (including 15 of the Apollo 11 examples). In overall fine condition, with some light curling to photos and the above mentioned paper residue clarification. 

From the personal collection of Paul Kruppenbacher, a member of the NASA Houston Landing and Recovery Division who trained Apollo astronauts in water recovery procedures and was deployed on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers for crew and spacecraft recovery operations.
