Excellent group lot of nine vintage glossy 10 x 8 original NASA photographs documenting the 'welcome back' ceremony for Friendship 7 astronaut John Glenn at the Patrick Air Force Base on February 23, 1962, an event that featured President John F. Kennedy as the keynote speaker, with all but two of the images depicting Kennedy on the stage, speaking at the podium, or shaking hands; the other two photos show Kennedy speaking with astronaut Alan Shepard and Kennedy driving on the tarmac at the Patrick Air Force Base.
