The Rawlings Advisory Staff Photos were issued from the 1950s through to the 1970s, and were a promotional item for display, distributed to stores which sold Rawlings sporting goods. Many of the biggest names in sports were members of the Rawlings team. As the Advisory Staff Photos pictured players under contract to endorse and use their product, each player is pictured with the requisite Rawlings product, usually a baseball glove, basketball, or football. The approximately 8.25 x 10.25 photos feature a white box that contain the player's facsimile signature, reading "Member Advisory Staff Rawlings Sporting Goods Company." This lot of 11 pictures includes: BASEBALL (6) - Ken Boyer, Joe Cunningham, Larry Jackson, Tony Kubek, Wilmer Mizell, and Roy Sievers. BASKETBALL (4) - Richie Guerin, Cliff Hagan, Slater Martin, and Bob Pettit. FOOTBALL (1) - Don Meredith. Tremendous overall condition, mostly light peripheral edge wear. One of the nicest groups of these photos we have seen.
