Scarce and desirable 2.25 x 4 portrait of President Abraham Lincoln taken by Alexander Gardner in 1865, with a copyright notice in the lower border. The reverse is marked, "Alex. Gardner, Photographer to the Army of the Potomac…Published by Philip & Solomon, Washington, D.C." In very good to fine condition, with clipped corner tips, and a few small spots to the image.
