In very good condition, with overall creasing and light surface impressions. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the original recipient (in German), and the original "The Doors" mailing envelope, postmarked May 19, 1970. Captured circa 1969 at Venice Pier by noted rock photographer Henry Diltz, this is a classic portrait of Morrison. The Doors came to be one of the most popular and successful American rock bands of all time, and Morrison one of rock's most legendary frontmen. A supremely desirable and extremely rare portrait, being just the fourth example we have encountered.
