Collection of five Joe Louis items, highlighted by a ballpoint signature, “Joe Louis,” on an off-white card, also signed on the reverse by HOF sportswriter Jim Murray (encapsulated in an SGC authentication holder). The four unsigned items include: an unused circa 1930s real photo postcard of Louis; a ticket for the heavyweight championship between Louis and Abe Simon at Madison Square Garden on March 27, 1942; an advertising envelope for the Louis vs. Jersey Joe Walcott heavyweight championship at Yankee Stadium on June 23, 1948; and a circa 1950 Chesterfield advertising card featuring Louis, graded SGC 40. In overall very good to fine condition, with edge toning to the signature.
