Highly appealing collection of vintage photos and posters relating to the Apollo program, including: an official color semi-glossy 13.75 x 10.75 NASA photo of the Apollo 14 Lunar Module Antares resting on the surface of the moon, with tire tracks from the modular equipment transporter in the foreground, affixed to a 20 x 16 mount; a brilliant official color semi-glossy 19.75 x 15.75 NASA photo of the dramatic launch of Apollo 17, affixed to a same-size board with an affixed label bearing purple NASA caption text; a pair of uncommon official color semi-glossy NASA photos, 11 x 14 and 14 x 11, showing day and nighttime views of a Saturn V rocket, the reverse of each bearing “A Kodak Paper” watermarks; a color glossy 16 x 20 photo of the launch of the Space Shuttle Challenger, printed under NASA copyright permission by the Japanese photography studio Impact in 1983, with the photo designated as print number “1375-IF”; a pair of color 20 x 16 cardstock photos, one showing Dave Scott during his Apollo 9 S-EVA, and the other honoring the Launch Vehicle Operations of the Apollo program; a pair of highly visual color 39.5 x 28.5 posters by General Electric offering huge amounts of detail and information on the “Apollo Initial Lunar Landing Mission”; a color 22 x 17 poster printed by the Communications Satellite Corporation, showing the Earth and the effects of satellites, entitled “Communications Satellites Help the World Grow Smaller”; a color 22.5 x 11 poster printed by Radiation Incorporated, showing a bird’s eye artistic layout of Cape Canaveral (Cape Kennedy); a set of three identical color 24 x 20 posters printed by Hamilton Standard, each honoring the Apollo 13 mission and crew with images of the crew with President Nixon, the launch, the lunar module, mission insignia, various hardware, and two large signature lists; an attractive 17 x 22 poster showing the 380´ launch tower at the Kennedy Space Center; a color 19.5 x 14 poster prepared by the Space Division of North American Rockwell, showing a handsome navigation map of the moon with various points of interest and adjacent lunar mission artwork; a color 47.5 x 21 poster by Bendix Field Engineering entitled “Electronic Lunar Lifeline,” displaying the various moving parts of the Manned Space Flight Network; and a partial color 29 x 28.4 poster by General Electric offering various images and information on “Apollo Design, Reference Mission IIA” In overall very good to fine condition, with a trimmed right edge to "Reference Mission IIA" poster, several posters either folded or rolled, some toning, and various slight wear or minor tears to edges.
