Joey Ramone’s personally-owned and -used address books, 7.25 x 9 and .75 x 6.25, annotated in his own hand and that of his assistant, with over forty instances of Ramone’s distinctive handwriting throughout, consisting mainly of the names and numbers of various friends, relatives, and associates; the inside front and back covers to the larger book are penned entirely in Ramone’s hand. The first book, leather-bound with three-ring binder, lists contact information for several notable acquaintances, including: Debbie Harry, Boz Scaggs, Jim Jarmusch, Dee Dee Ramone, Bob Gruen, Lemmy Kilmister, Kim Thayil, Lars Frederiksen, Sean Lennon, Monte Melnick, Matt Pinfield, Steven Tyler, Sebastian Bach, Arturo Vega, and Cameron Crowe. The second book, partial six-ring binder, features additional names and numbers, with highlights including: Rick Nielsen, Steven Van Zandt, and Steven Seagal. In overall good to very good condition, with a expected wear from use and a few pages detached from larger book; the smaller book bears obvious wear including creasing, tears, and overall staining affecting the readability of some of the entries. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the Joey Ramone Estate.
