Interesting collection of items obtained by a young reporter in New York: a hardcover edition of John Lennon’s In His Own Write, signed on the first free end page in blue ballpoint, “Love, Paul McCartney,” signed at a 1968 Apple press conference; the reporter’s pass for admission to the press conference, signed on the reverse by Derek Taylor; twelve color candid photos from the press conference, most showing Paul or John, fourteen slides taken at the event, and original negatives; the reporter’s invitation to the press conference; a ballpoint signature of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi which she obtained the following year; and an unsigned copy of Lennon’s A Spaniard in the Works. In overall very good to fine condition. Accompanied by a detailed two-page letter of provenance from the reporter describing the circumstances of obtaining these items.
