All versions of the Apollo spacecraft used the Command Service Module to transfer power to the Lunar Module in preparation for lunar landing, a process that was tested successfully during Apollo 10. However, after the Apollo 13 malfunction the design was modified to also allow the LM to initiate this transfer. This page is exceedingly desirable as it represents a process critical to preparing the LM for man’s last descent to the lunar surface and is also signed by the last man to do so.
