Wonderful collection of items relating to the Apollo 13 film and mission, including: a 10 x 8 semi-glossy photo of the Apollo 13 command module, signed in silver ink, “’And there is one whole side of the spacecraft missing!’ James Lovell, CDR Apollo 13”; and a Collector’s Edition DVD of Apollo 13, signed in black felt tip by lead actor Tom Hanks, director Ron Howard, and Lovell. Nicely framed with an engraved nameplate and a satin-finish photo of Hanks, Howard, and Lovell holding the included DVD to an overall size of 20.75 x 15.25. In overall fine condition, with the Lovell–signed photo mounted on foam core. An excellent collaboration of subject and filmmaker, and an ideal showcase for cinema buffs and NASA enthusiasts alike.
