Two flown sections of the BF Goodrich Space Shuttle Orbiter nose gear tire flown on Atlantis mission STS-27 in December 1988 and on Columbia mission STS-28 in August 1989. One segment of the nylon and steel-bead wire tile measures 8.5″ across, with the smaller section measuring 2.5 x 2. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Ken Havekotte, as well as printed information on shuttle nose gear tires and two images of the shuttles. In fine condition. RR Auction COA.
