Blue-bodied Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, #E953059, signed on the body in silver ink by Paul McCartney and on the white pickguard in blue felt tip, “Ringo.” Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo for the Starr signature, indicating it was obtained in person in Los Angeles in 2006, and stating “Ringo Starr signed guitars are extremely rare,” and also accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Beatles expert Perry Cox. Also included is a notarized letter of provenance from the recipient of the McCartney signature, stating he obtained the signature on November 20, 1997, at the Manhattan Center in New York.
