Extremely rare working handwritten lyrics by Hendrix, possibly unpublished, for an unnamed song, written on a 4 x 9.5 off-white business envelope, which has one side removed. In black felt tip, Hendrix writes: “Hell to Heaven / Heaven to Hell / Please send / Devil or Angel / To love me now. / To Hell with Heaven / To Heaven with Hell. ‘ Unless you don’t / send me somebody / to love…the truth / of you both. I’m / gonna tell. Shout it loud.” In fine condition. Accompanied by a photo of the legendary musician. Hendrix lyrics seldom appear for sale at auction and are highly coveted by music collectors.
