A bill of lading for a ship in Boston Harbor. In part: “Shipped by the Grace of God, in good Order and well Condition’d, by Tho. Hancock, by orders of Cap Edward Whittmore…and in and upon the good Ship called the Boscowan whereof is Master, under God, for this present Voyage, Howard Jacobson and now riding at Anchor in the Harbour of Boston and by God’s Grace bound for London to say, Two trunks of papers, One Hundred Guineas, one gold watch, one silver cup, & two seales—on Accott & Risque of the estate of the later General Edward Whittmore…being mark’d and number’d as in the Margin, and are to be deliver’d in the like good Order.” In fine condition, with scattered mild toning.
