Conclusion of an official letters patent document, beginning: "In testimony whereof, I have caused these Letters to be made Patent, and the Seal of the said United States to be hereunto affixed." Neatly and prominently signed in ink by President John Adams, and countersigned by Secretary of State Timothy Pickering. Corner-mounted and framed to an overall size of 16.5 x 8. In fine condition.
