Handwritten notes by John Lennon on a yellow 5 x 7.25 sheet of notebook paper, unsigned, no date. Lennon makes a ‘to-do’ list in black ink: “1. What happened to Brooks Bros. shirts? 2. Harris Marmalade is ‘the usual’ – i.e. not Guava Jelly Bananas! 3. Beta max replacement ‘I’ll call you’ (Bedroom) 4. Kitchen T.V. – measure size of shelf etc.” Curiously, Lennon then jumps to “7. How to rig a T.V. in Sean’s bedroom – that ONLY PLAYS TAPES (perhaps the other ‘giant’ Sony like one in my room?) i.e. no ‘live’ T.V.” In very good to fine condition, with dampstaining and associated light wrinkling. Given the mention of his son, Sean, the list was likely written in New York in the late 1970s or sometime before Lennon’s death in December 1980.
