ALS in French, signed “Marie de Gonzaga,” one page, 6.25 x 8.75, December 20, 1644. Untranslated handwritten letter by Marie de Gonzaga, regretting the poor financial condition of a religious group in her birthplace of Nevers, France. In fine condition, with paper loss to the lower left corner, affecting none of the handwriting.
