Collection of seven original vintage portrait sketches of classic actresses from the Golden Age of Hollywood, all of which are signed in ink by the pictured starlet and inscribed to the artist, J. Fred Johnson. The oversized sketches are accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on off-white sheets of drawing paper, approximately 13.5 x 16.5, and include the following actresses: Fay Wray, Dorothy Lamour, Angela Lansbury, Dolores Del Rio, Deborah Kerr, Joan Bennett, and Eileen Brennan. Each is also signed in pencil by the artist, and several are matted to an overall size of 16 x 20. In overall very good to fine condition, with paper loss to the corners of the Wray sheet.
