Two original laserprint color proofs for Prince's "MPLS" animated music video, 17 x 11, featuring five of the "Homeboyz" characters created by Frank Saperstein and designed by Philip J. Felix and Frank Saperstein for Paisley Park Enterprises in 1993. In overall fine condition, with light edge creasing.
"MPLS" was the first video related to Prince to be treated as a cartoon, released for broadcast but receiving only minimal airplay. The associated single received only a limited release through the 1-800-NEW-FUNK telephone service and The New Power Generation stores in Minneapolis and London. In addition to the cartoon scenes, the video features live-action clips from Prince's 'The Beautiful Experience' TV-special and Lenny Kravitz’s 'Are You Gonna Go My Way' music video.
