Marvelous oversized vintage matte-finish 11 x 14.5 portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing her glimmering crown jewels, taken by Royal Court photographer Dorothy Wilding, affixed to its original 11.5 x 16 mount, nicely signed on the mount in fountain pen, "Elizabeth R, 1953." Framed to an overall size of 16 x 20. In fine condition, with an unobtrusive repaired tear to the right of the signature, and slight evidence of edge staining along the border edges. An exquisite image of the beloved British monarch.
