Queen of Württemberg (1766-1828) as the wife of King Frederick I who was the eldest daughter and fourth child of George III of the United Kingdom and his wife, Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. ALS signed “Charlotte Augusta Matilda,” one page, 7.25 x 8.75, October 29, 1795. Handwritten letter to Lady Harrington, in full: I have received the Queen’s Commands to write you my dear Madam to come to the Queen's House this Evening. Adieu dear Lady Harrington.” In very good to fine condition, with scattered light spotty staining.
