Description

Fully signed, highly displayable program for Queen's 1977 Euro Summer Tour

Superb original program for Queen’s 1977 European Summer Tour in support of their 5th studio album A Day at the Races, 20 pages, 11.25 x 11.25, signed on the front cover next to their respective images in black ballpoint by Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, John Deacon, and Brian May. The consignor notes that the autographs were obtained on either June 6 or 7, 1977, when Queen performed at Earls Court in London, England. In fine condition, with a faint stain and light handling wear. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.

The 1977 tour signaled the first time that many of the band’s biggest hits were played live and in full length, including ‘Somebody to Love,’ ‘Brighton Rock,’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ Other hits often seen on the setlist were ‘Killer Queen,’ ‘You’re My Best Friend,’ and ‘The Prophet's Song.’ A spectacular Queen-signed program, captured at the apex of their extraordinary career—fully signed versions of this oversized program are extremely rare, with this particular example all the more desirable given its neatly and appropriately placed autographs.
