Superior vintage matte-finish 18.5 x 15.5 photo of President Roosevelt attending to his correspondence, signed in the wide lower border in bold fountain pen, "with the best wishes of Theodore Roosevelt, Nov. 19th 1910." Marked in the lower right corner in ink: "Copyright by Clinedinst, Washington, D.C." Affixed to a same-size mount and in fine condition, with lightly trimmed edges, a short tear to the top edge, and a few tiny flecks of surface loss to the image. Scarce in oversized images, this is a dramatic and fitting format for Roosevelt's autograph.
