Fantastic vintage glossy 7.75 x 10 promo photo of the Beatles published by 'Star Pics' in 1963, boldly signed on the reverse in blue ballpoint by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. The classic image features John with his acoustic-electric guitar, Paul with his iconic Hofner violin bass, and George with his beloved Gretsch—their early 'tools of the trade.' In very good to fine condition, with some minor soiling, and a short tear to the top edge; the signatures are bright, clean, and bold.
Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from noted Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo, in part: "John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have all added 'XXX' after signing. The signatures are stunning in person, as they are large and lay out wonderfully on the back of the photo - which is 4 times the area of an average autograph album page, resulting in larger than average signatures that 'have plenty of room to breathe.' The autographs date from mid-1963, and this is an extraordinary Beatles signed photograph that would present beautifully if framed for display."
