Johnny Ramone’s personally-owned black Ramones windbreaker-style nylon jacket, size large, signed on the left chest in silver ink by Johnny Ramone. The front of the button-up jacket features white and red text, “Ramones, Founding Member, www.officialramones.com,” as does the back section, “Ramones, 1*2*3*4, Cretins Wanna Hop Some More.” In never-worn, very fine condition.
According to Andy Gore, this jacket was designed and made by artist Arturo Vega back in 1999 as a promotional item to advertise his new Ramones website, 1-2-3-4. Vega only had a handful of these jackets produced, and he sent one to each Ramones band member. These Jackets were made exclusively for the launch of Arturo Vega's OfficialRamones.com kick-off party at CBGB's in December 1999. Johnny Ramone ‘graciously called me and asked if I wanted this jacket for my collection…a week later it showed up in my mailbox.’
