Japanese author (1925-1970) whose works remain some of the most significant of the 20th century; he committed ritual suicide to protest the Westernization and military weakness of postwar Japan. Rare vintage glossy 3.75 x 5.5 postcard photo of the controversial Japanese author in a head-and-shoulders pose, signed in red felt tip, "Yukio Mishima." In fine condition, with light edge silvering, and a faint postal impression to the upper right corner. Mishima is rare in signed photographs of any size.
