Very desirable original 1963 German tour program for the “Thelonious Monk Quartet,” eight pages, 9 x 9, signed on the attractive portrait front cover in ballpoint, “Good luck always, Thelonious Monk,” with Monk’s band signing inside next to the respective image: “Best of luck, Charles Rouse, 63,” “Keep swingin,’ Frankie Dunlop,” and “Best wishes, John Ore.” The title page, which bears two affixed ticket stubs for a concert at the Rheinhalle Düsseldorf concert hall on March 17, 1963, is also signed by impresario George Wein. In fine condition, with light handling wear.
