Handwritten lyrics by Noel Gallagher for the song ‘Live Forever,’ penned in black ballpoint on off-white 5.25 x 8.25 notebook sheet, signed and dated below, “Noel Gallagher, April 18.” The lyrics, in full: “Maybe I don't really wanna know / How your garden grows / Cause I just wanna fly / Lately did you ever feel the pain / In the morning rain / As it soaks you to the bone / Maybe I just wanna fly / Want to live I don't wanna die / Maybe I just wanna breathe / Maybe I just don't believe / Maybe you're the same as me / We see things they'll never see / You and I are gonna live forever.” In fine condition. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from REAL. 'Live Forever' was released as the third single from Oasis' debut album Definitely Maybe on August 8, 1994. Inspired by the Rolling Stones song 'Shine a Light,' Gallagher first wrote the song in 1991, before he joined Oasis. Gallagher's brother Liam is on record stating that it's his favorite song to play because he believes the song was written for their mother, Peggy.
