Scarce original light pink 4.75 x 7.75 handbill for a Beatles concert at the Marine Club in Southport, Merseyside, England, on August 24, 1963, which reads, in part: “Saturday-Great Shake Contest, THE BEATLES, Twist and Shout—E.P’s to be won.” The handbill also promotes a concert by Gene Vincent, “America’s King of Rock,” on August 27th. Other acts include The Four Strangers, The Delreans, The Young Ones, The Outlaws, Group One, and more. In fine condition.
