Rare TLS, one page on a 7.5 x 4 Bozo the Capitol Clown stationery envelope, February 27, 1962. Unusual letter to an admirer, in part: "Thanx, Frank, for requesting my ottergraf. Sorry I haven't any old/time (silent) photos to enclose….(All of my photos/press/books, et cetera at present in N.Y. with my book/length material: titled: (tentitiv'ly) 'Clowns Is People.' Publishers will undoubtedly change it to: If Laughter Makes Your System Go 'Brrrrroo—nnggG!' Why Not Take Carter's Little Liver Pills;…Which, (As You Know). When Your Liver Goes That-A-Way…. Brother! You're Feelin' Great.' (Which, I think is a helluva good title!)." In fine condition.
