A document informing Colonel Sir Henry Goodrich of a warrant for £1,000 to be delivered to raise "tenn Companies of Foot…one hundred Soldiers in each Company…within six weekes." A seal remains mostly intact at upper left. In very good to fine condition, with scattered foxing, a stain to the lower left corner, and edge tears and loss repaired with old tape along the back edges.
